Moneta - An Overview

Moneta 2011 is a nationwide financial festival organized and hosted by the students of R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics.

Podar Moneta aims at bringing about financial acumen amongst the college-going youth in a manner that combines hardy knowledge with riveting entertainment. The event is designed keeping in mind the need to impart financial gospel in the most comprehensible manner.

Organised and hosted by the indefatigable students of R.A.Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Podar Moneta 2011 aspires to inspire students to cannily manage financial resources at their disposal through systematic planning, diligent application and judicial revision.

The three-day financial jamboree shall see seminars, workshops and competitions spruced up by the presence of the crème de la crème of the Indian Finance Industry.

The centre of attraction is bound to be the simulated by virtual trading portals set up by the National Stock Exchange itself.

Moneta wishes to tap different aspects of the financial markets and introduce the student community to the avenues of Investment and Merchant Banking by creating a virtual ‘real life’ situation.

The most momentous of events stem from the humblest of beginnings. Podar Moneta hopes that its efforts can contribute their mite towards the making of future doyens of the world economy.
